FARGO — Two men from Arkansas have been charged for a violent assault that left a Fargo man seriously injured outside his Prairiewood apartment in August. Gerardo Gonzalez, 19, and Angel Luis Escobedo Ocampo, 27, are facing attempted murder, aggravated assault and criminal street gang felony charges related to an Aug. 11 attack outside an apartment building in the 3200 block of 16th Avenue South. Fargo officers responding to a 911 call found Jake Eli Storstad "face down, motionless, in a large pool of blood" shortly after 4:30 a.m. He was taken to the hospital with multiple facial fractures, a subdural hematoma and several other serious injuries. He had to be intubated due to a swollen airway and had cerebral spinal fluid leaking as a result of the assault, court documents said.
