MonDak Football Show: Week 9 — Dickinson Schools news

We ve reached the halfway point of our season of podcast episodes as the conference title races are heating up in a big way. The focus of the FCS world will be in Brookings on Saturday as the South Dakota State Jackrabbits take on the visiting University of South Dakota Coyotes. For a second straight year, the schools will be wearing all blue and red. But the in-state rivalry won t just be for bragging rights. On paper, it s a game between the 5th and 6th ranked teams in the latest poll. It could also very well put the winner in the prime position for a top-2 seed in the upcoming playoffs. Elsewhere, the University of North Dakota will face an extremely tough road test. The Fighting Hawks will go up against Youngstown State to face a Penguins team that s also eyeing a Missouri Valley Football Conference title. To the west, the Montana State University Bobcats welcome Cal Poly to Bozeman. The Cats are looking to preserve their resume as the NCAA FCS Playoff Committee
